The Joint Leadership of the United States Congress and the Congressional Award Board of Directors award the Horizon Award special recognition. The Horizon Award is presented to people from the private sector who have contributed to expanding opportunities for all Americans by their personal contributions, and who have set exceptional examples for young people through their accomplishments in their lives. Tom was a wonderful co-player, grateful to be as part of such an accomplished and experienced group, practicing and working hard when his Magnum schedule allowed. .... He was very kind and patient.
