Bellamy Young

Young began her acting career in the field of acting the theater. In 1997 Young made her Broadway debut as Mary in the first actors of The Life. The show was performed Off Broadway in Stephen Sondheim's musical Merrily we Let's Roll (1994) as well as Randy Newman's Faust, (1995-1996). The year 1995 was the year she made her television debut in a recurring role in"the" NBC daytime soap the show Another World as Dr. Courtney Evans. The role was in Law & Order as a guest in two parts during 1997 and 1998. The film debut came in 1999 with a minor role in Black and White. In the subsequent years she appeared in several independent movies. In the early 2000s, she started appearing as the guest actor on a variety of TV dramas and comedy series, like The Drew Carey Show and The X Files. Young is a regular on more than 30 TV shows between 2000 and 2011. Young was one of the regular actors on Peacemakers which was a USA Network television series that was aired in 2003. After the show ran for nine episodes in a season, the show was cancelled. She was a recurring character on the Lifetime show For the People, a law-based drama. Atty. Agnes Hunt, NBC's Scrubs in the role of As Dr. Grace Miller, NBC's Scrubs, as Monica West (CSI: Miami 2005-2006) as well as ABC's Dirty Sexy Money, as Ellen Darling (the eldest in-law daughter of the Darlings) and CBS's CSI: Miami, as Monica West (assistant state attorney).
