Sharp learned to play the clarinet, piano, and cello in the Hochstein School of Music in Rochester. Sharp's passion for theatre at the age of 14 led her to the Boston Conservatory, where she was given an award. Cum Laude's B.F.A. was awarded to Sharp upon her graduation. Sharp focused her energy on the stage. She performed in The Broadway National Tour of Carousel and debuted off-Broadway as Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind and played eight different roles in the comedy that is interactive Eat the Runt. Sharp performed Abyssinia and Aida in the theatre in addition. Sharp also has other projects which she's working on, in addition to the productions for stage and screen. An entire recording is in the works. Sharp also is still singing. Sharp enjoys staying fit and stays in great shape by studying Krav Maga and boxing. Sharp resides with her family, including her husband living in Los Angeles.
